ANAHEIM, CA | 2009 Chevrolet MalibuAugust 30, 2025The advisors were great they help me wish gm could have extended the warranty my car has only 40k miles miles although it is a 2009 chevy malibu car was so clean and pristine condition just sad my vin wasn't included in the recall but it should it was a known issue twice the steering wheel locked on me both i was driving one in the freeway and the other was on a busy sides treet. I tried asking the dealer if the customer experience manager could help but to no avail. i was on my own to the tune of $1500 what sucks is only the dealer could calibrate the steering after a sensor replacement all i ask was a discount but Gm or Chevy didn't care. Might be my last Chevy or Gm purchase. This senor steering problem was all over the internet even the Firestone Auto which i go through wouldn't want to touch my steering problem because they know they wouldn't be able to calibrate it and there is an open recall.Response from Guaranty Chevrolet
