    I’ve purchased two vehicles from Guaranty Chevy and had great experiences both times. I did not have a great experience with the service department. I took my Traverse in for maintenance. The brakes were making noise, the entertainment system was having issues, and there were paint defects on the hood. The technician evaluated the hood from afar and dismissed it as bird dropping damage. They still submitted it to GM and claimed it was not covered under warranty. It would be a $500 repair. We were told a diagnosis for the rest of the issues would be given the next day so we wouldn’t need a loaner car. After a week without a diagnosis and no car, we picked it. I took it to another Chevy dealership. Two days later, they called and told me they replaced the front brakes and sensors. They replaced the telemodic control module, they were also dropping it off at the body shop to repaint the hood. All at no cost. We were also gifted a rental car during the whole process. Guaranty had my vehicle for a week and only washed it as a courtesy. However, I had to wait another 40 minutes while they did it.

    I took my car in for a clicking sound and tire rotation. They had my car for 3 full days and nothing was resolved aside from the tire rotation. There was no call from the dealer to advise on status nor was I informed there was a diagnostic fee involved until day 3. Manager Rick was passive aggressive in how he handled the situation and didnt understand why I was upset with the whole situation and his employee. I didnt have transportation for 3 days and was unaware of the diagnostic fee, even though my car has bumper to bumper and extended warranty and he still was inconsiderate. We are taking our business to a different dealer, and we are taking all of our family’s chevys too. Three of our vehicles were bought here, so its unfortunate as this could have been prevented.
